SOUTH PARK

SOUTH PARK For today's date we spun the wheel to South Park. This undiscovered tiny bit of neighborhood is just west of Boeing Field.  FUN FACTS South Park was originally  an independent city but after four years it was annexed to Seattle due to lack of clean water.  Before World War II South Park was mostly farmland that supplied food to Pike Place Market.  FOODS We ate at Uncle Eddies. Their Patty Melt and Chicken Chile Verde Sandwich were delicious. Friendly staff and fun outdoor dining.  DESSERT  Since South Park's Resistencia Coffee Shop was closed, we ventured deeper into town to find this little hole in the wall mexican dessert bakery. For just over $5 we got six pastries!  FUN THINGS TO DO We found all sort of unique items at the Big Top Curiosity Shop . This is a fun and very quirky store to pop into.   RENT A BIKE & CROSS THE  DUWAMISH We rented Jump bikes and rode across the South Park Bridge. There you can see both Boeing Fiel...
