OUR FIRST DATE! WHAT WILL YOURS BE?
We spun the random neighborhood of Wedgwood located near Sand Point and The University Village. Below is what we discovered. . .
WEDGWOOD
INTERESTING FACTS
Wedgwood was named after Wedgwood China (The favorite china company of the city developer's wife).
There is a giant hidden glacial erratic in the middle of the Wedgwood neighborhood. It's 19 ft tall.
The neighborhood was originally purchased to be the future site of Seattle University, but due to the Great Depression, it was never built.
BEST FRIES IN SEATTLE
We ate at the informal Wedgwood Ale House and Cafe. They hand-cut their fries and we had to agree that they were some of the best we've tried in Seattle!
THE DOWN SIDE
This neighborhood closes early. (Perhaps it's due to COVID?) We tried to get coffee at both Cafe Javasti and Van Gogh CoffeeHouse but both closed before 5pm--a sad reality for these Seattleites.
OVERALL
We give Wedgewood a two glacial erratic rating
(P.S. our rating system has no meaning whatsoever!)
